Profile:
I am Dr Sathish Bangalore, a Consultant Paediatrician at Northwick Park Hospital, where I have been privileged to provide paediatric care since 2009 as part of the London Northwest Healthcare NHS Trust. Over the years, I have provided compassionate and comprehensive medical services to children and their families, ensuring the highest standards of care from newborns through to adolescents up to 16 years of age.
My journey in paediatrics began in India, where I completed my postgraduate training and earned a Master’s degree in Paediatrics. Following this, I expanded my clinical expertise across several renowned hospitals in London, including the Royal Brompton Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, Hillingdon Hospital, and Ealing Hospital. These experiences enriched my knowledge and prepared me for my current role as Consultant Paediatrician at Northwick Park Hospital.
He then took on his current role as Consultant Paediatrician at Northwick Park Hospital.
With 27 years of experience in paediatrics, Dr Bangalore is widely recognised for his clinical expertise and compassionate approach to provide care for children from newborns up to 16 years of age. Apart from managing all paediatric problems he also has special interest in:
- Paediatric Allergy
- Paediatric Cardiology
- Paediatric Emergency Medicine
- Newborn and feeding issues
- Common paediatric dermatological problems
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Bangalore plays a significant role in education and professional development. He is an MRCPCH Examiner, contributing to the review and writing of questions for the MRCPCH Clinical Exam. He is also actively involved in teaching MRCPCH candidates and 5th-year medical students from Imperial College. Furthermore, he is a key contributor to the organisation of Paediatric Grand Rounds, where he shares his knowledge and expertise with healthcare professionals.
Dr Bangalore has also obtained the Senior Leader Level 7 Qualification from Imperial College and the Corndel Executive Development Programme, reflecting his commitment to leadership and professional development in healthcare.
